Job Purpose

The role holder provides cross functional leadership of Laekna product team. This includes facilitating and contributing to the formation of product strategy options to be approved by the development management and once approved the execution of that strategy by the product team. The holder will ensure cross functional alignment for interactions with senior management, including related governance committee. The holder is accountable for the delivery of multiple projects to time, quality and budget. The holder should be able to run large projects independently and provide guidance to team members if appropriate. The holder is also expected to contribute to projects/initiatives that have impact across portfolio.

Duties and Responsibilities

Leading the planning/execution of portfolio projects and programs in product team.

Responsible for the development of strategic options for a project

Responsible for coordinating the creation of project plan (business case, cross-functional development plan budget and timeline), and project plan update and maintenance

Responsible for tacking performance of project delivery

Coordinating the project plan approval by governance bodies and communicating the decision to stakeholders

Lead respective project review at different governance bodies

Provide mentorship to team members

Lead/contribute to initiatives that have impact across portfolio

Job Requirements:

Academic/Professional Qualification

oEducation with bioscience or medical related mar and project management training

Technical/Skills Training

Deep knowledge in drug development and project management, with both global and China experience

Deep knowledge and experience in financial management of projects and developing business cases for projects.

Disease area expertise in one or more therapy areas and experience with both small and large molecules

Understanding of project management tools and ways of working to plan, execute, identify and mitigate risk for a project

Leadership, strategic thinking, problems solving

Communication & presentation skills

Effective meeting and time management and meeting minutes organization

Ability to see cross-project dependencies and act to resolve issues

Influencing and stakeholder management skills

Working experience

At least 5 years relevant working experience in drug development

Global working experience is plus
